The Tsuen Wan area in Hong Kong has some local temples well worth visiting, all not too far away from one another. You could easily spend a day touring around, walking between temples and monasteries. In my last visit to the area during a public holiday, I visited three of those. First ,I walked over to Tin Hau Kung, then made my way up the mountain (can take an easy taxi, if you prefer) to Western Monastery, and then the nearby Yuen Yuen Institute. They’re all quite different styles and with something unique for you to explore, combining Buddhism, Daoism, and Confucianism.
