One weekend, I went on a getaway hike to Po Toi Island, and instead of returning to Aberdeen decided to catch the ferry back to Stanley. Once in Stanley, I decide to try and tour areas of Stanley I have not yet been to, and an easy choice was a pleasant walk from Stanley Ma Hang Park to Chung Hom Kok Park. It’s just behind the gorgeous Murray House, colonial building turned shopping mall, mostly shaded, and with grand views of southern HK island on all sides.
First, a glimpse towards Stanley…
The beginning of the walk starting from Stanley Ma Hang Park…
Hidden temples along the path…
Lots of green…
And gorgeous views of southern Hong Kong island…
At the end of the walk is the wonderful Chung Hom Kok Park with beautiful sunsets…
