In one of my northern Hong Kong stays I was looking for something new and exciting to do, having done most of the hikes in that area, when I came across the GoGreen Pineapple and Alpaca farm. That seemed, well, different. I’m typically aversive to zoos and animals on display, but this one was positioning itself as green and organic, so I imagined animals roaming around freely.
Animals wise, not sure what to make of it, this didn’t feel like a free zone sanctuary and more like a tourist attraction semi zoo with non-local farm animals, but – that aside for now – they also have an organic pineapple farm and various other activities that go beyond the Alpaca. Kids would obviously get a kick out of this place, and it’s nice to see organic farming that’s open to visitors.
Shall we pay a quick visit?
