I haven’t had the chance to do many roadtrip in my trip this year to South America. The pandemic was still a thing, and I didn’t plan the weather very well, arriving in the local winter. But when I was in Buenos Aires, and the forecast was for a few sunny days I decided to venture to the warmer nearby Cordoba region and explore a bit. Started from the city, with some walking tours and local festivals, and continues towards the west to explore some of the mountain area with the base being in Carlos Paz and the highlights of La Cumbrecita to the south and Los Terrones to the north.
I feel like I barely scratched the surface of what that region has to offer, and it was all in a rush, but it was a much needed getaway from the hustle bustle of city life Buenos Aires and allow me to realize that car trips throughout regions in South America can be a real treat.
