Neve Tsedek is one of the loveliest neighborhoods in Tel Aviv. In my last visit to the city, during gorgeous weather, I did a short walking tour in that area to try and reconnect. I discovered a few new gems, like the wonderful Rokach House Museum, belonging to an artist who is the grand-daughter of Rokach, Tel-aviv’s first mayor. The 1887 house, one of the first in Tel-Aviv outside of Jaffa, has a fascinating display about Tel-Aviv, Rokach, and the grand-daughter’s art. You can easily spend an hour or two looking around, reading about the history, watching their in-cinema movie, and exploring the art gardens…
