On my last visit to Mexico I had a few days to try and explore a bit more. I’ve been to different parts of Mexico, but have never ventured east of Mexico City, so I decided to rent a car and do a little road trip and explore the area. This is how I ended up in Orizaba, a town on the mountains riding down from the very high Mexico plateau down towards the eastern sea coast. It has a nice colonial vibe to it, with some lovely streets, parks, and small funky tourist attractions.
