After a long absence from Europe, I got to spend a couple of wonderful weeks in Paris and roaming around France. To my delight, I was joined by some of my charming family to head out from the Paris airport east to explore the wonders of Champagne province. From there, we roamed around circling Paris from the north, making it all the way to the French beaches on the north-west, and then down back to Paris through the gardens of Givenchy. After a weekend of Parisian magic, we made a final tour of the grandiose chateaus near Paris. Less than a week, but what a ride. Though some of us were pregnant (hint: not me), and we had a lively kid on our sleepy travel team, looking back it made things even more special and we got to visit some amazing spots. Things generally all turned out for the best.
I am truly blessed to have had this opportunity to spend some intense quality time with my family in beautiful France before heading out to start my new life in the states.
What did we see? I give you… our ‘visions’ of France roadtrip photo-tour.
France, above and beyond everything else, will probably be mostly remembered for the countless magnificent chateaus, castles, and French gardens. After the first few, I stopped counting, but they all offered their own unique stories and beauty.
We also got to see alot of nature, gardens and canals…
Alongside chateaus you’ll find monumental world-class UNESCO-heritage cathedrals and churches…
Terrific beaches…
Happy times!
May there be many more joint trips to come…
