Greece has been very high on my travel TODO list for long, but have never found the time to go visit. I’ve recently concluded two years of living in Europe and then had to move back to Asia and realized that I might have spent all that time in Europe but not visit Greece. I couldn’t accept that, so the last destination before leaving Europe was a tour around Greece, starting from Athens, and then doing the Delphi, Patras, Olympia, Mystra/Sparta, Nafpion, Mycenae, and Corinth circle through the Peloponnese islands. It was quite the trip.

Athens was a very pleasant surprise. Somehow, the stories I’ve heard of this city painted it as ‘challenging’, but all that I’ve seen in Athens was fantastic, both the history and the local street and life. It was definitely one of the highlights.

So, to kick off the Greece tour and give you a taste of Athens, here are my “visions” of Athens Greece.
