Been wanting to visit Puebla for quite some time, but it was only in the last visit to Mexico that I finally had a chance to take a road trip away from Mexico City and explore this lovely city. I spent the weekend touring around, surrounding one of the big local festivals, and had a blast. It’s a picturesque city, full of color and life, with a great vibe, and some fun attractions.
First off, my hood, the city center, colorful Mexican style…
The main square, at night, with projections over the old cathedral…
Catching some live music…
Day time roaming…
You know me, gotta catch those cable cars … the Teleferico Puebla…
The artist quarter…
With the crafts market…
Some underground tunnels, touring a different side of the city…
Back to exploring the cathedrals and central old town area…
The very old library…
A bit further away, if there’s a Ferris wheel, then we have to go up…
And finally, the very long, day long, parade. I didn’t last very long, but it was nice to see the locals excited.
Last walk of the city…
