Norway has been on my TODO list for many years, but I never got around to visiting it, until 2023. Finally, the world opened up, and following a European tour I finally managed to schedule something in Norway, and spend over a week in Oslo. I was hoping to also see some of the wonderful natural beauty in Norway, but toward the end of the week the weather turned gloomy, rainy, and cold, and so I headed out, hoping to come back and explore those in the future.
Still, spending some time in Oslo was a treat. Within walking distance around the center, there are many attractions, and I was impressed by the very high standard of living, and how chill everyone seemed to be. I really enjoyed taking the ferry out to one of the nearby islands, and seeing some of the more remote and less crowded areas.
