Long ago I visited Peng Chau for the first time, one of Hong Kong’s small island with a laid back fishermen village feel to it. Though it’s a really small island, that fist time, I only explored the southern part of the island, hiking up to the mountain top to get some wonderful views of the area. This year I returned to Peng Chau to hike the northern part of the island. It’s very quiet, almost no people around, and the views overlooking Lantau and Discovery Bay are terrific.
Shall we take a walk around the island?
Local fishermen life…
Small worship temples everywhere …
Local beaches…
And generally laid back village life…
A wonderful day of a completely different Hong Kong.
