While traveling around Nepal I visited many temples, but the one at hill top Swayambhu in Kathmandu, infested with crazy wild monkeys was one of the more interesting ones. It’s one of the most holy and oldest of the temples in Nepal. There are some spectacular views of Kathmandu from that hill, but the biggest tourist attraction seems to be the countless monkeys roaming around as if they own the place. You also have your usual stupa, a coin tossing wishing well, golden temple structures, and some gardens.
