During previous year Chinese New Year I ventured to Thailand, and decide to do an unplanned trip to the south to tour some of the islands. It’s been over 15 years since I last visited, and it was about time I returned. I remember preferring the smaller Phangan over the larger Koh Samui, but for my short trip I felt it would be best that this time I stay closer to the airport. Which really worked out nicely, as Koh Samui turned out to be far more charming than I remembered.
Once you get away from the central tourist streets and venture to the outskirts you see lovely beach stretches, and the center of the island features lots of options for scooter explorations, which I tried to do as many of as I possibly could during my time there. I got to chill at the beaches, explore mountains, tour exotic temples, and enjoy much of the Thai local life. It was wonderful
Let’s go on a tour.
