Quite a few things to see and do in Bristol, and in my short visit there I was able to cover quite a few of those. My favorite was the Clifton Suspension Bridge & Observatory area, and from there I headed south towards the waterline, so see the Underfall Yard and Spike Island, two local attractions showing some of the artistic and handymen local work. The small island is now an international hub for creative contemporary art and design with lots of in-house artists and funky galleries and exhibitions. Historically, it’s where much of the shipyards and quays were located, and the Underfall Yard is one of the old ones still running and recently renovated to showcase some of Bristol’s historical significance.
