In my recent visit to Taipei I went back to the newly renovated Huashan 1914 Taipei area to see a few of the funky exhibitions taking place. One new attraction is the very engaging Upside Down House, a house that was built upside down, helping you take some really odd photos to amaze and amuse your friends and family. While there, I also came across a Where’s Waldo exhibition. Not sure how many Taiwanese really know about Waldo, but I grew up with this guy, only where I’m from his name was Effi. So that was a fun discovery, learning a bit about the history of this guy, and the many very creative pictures where he liked to hide. Both attractions are amazing fun, especially for kids and families.

If you’re in Taipei, Huashan is a great place to catch a few exhibitions. If they’re still running the Upside Down House and/or Where’s Waldo, be sure to go in for a quick visit.
