The historic center of Mexico City is filled with great attractions, like the Great Pyramid of Tenochtitlán and Museo del Templo Mayor. In the area are also a few local museums featuring some of the local arts and culture. One of those is the Museo Nacional de las Culturas, a national museum dedicated to world cultures, housed in a colonial style building. Not a must for the exhibitions, but if you’re wondering around the historical town and want to get a sense of the local architecture, this would be a good place to go in and have a look. If you are into art, there are copies of famous art from around the world, and some overview of the lost grand cultures of the region.
