A good way to get started on your tour of the gorgeous old city of Jerusalem is to go on a walk on the old city walls. If you approach the old city from the Jaffa gate you can do the walk in two directions – one going on the southern walls into the Armenian and Jewish quarters, or you can head up north to see the Christian and Muslim quarters. Both walks are remarkable and offering a very unique perspective on the old city and its inhabitants, but they are very different from each other, and both are worth doing.
This post is about the northern walk, peeking into the Christian and Mulsim parts, and the photos are posted in no particular order…

A great way to get an overview of the city from above, and see into the hidden parts of the old city life.
