Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel, has two campuses. I am more familiar with the Mount Scopus campus, mostly centered on social science, law, medicine, and humanities, but there was a time when I frequented the Givat Ram, centered around exact sciences and engineering, mostly for its facilities. It’s been a very long time since I visited last, but this year I had the chance to come back to revisit and do a nostalgia walk around the old campus.
Not much has changed, most was as is, with some new buildings catering to the IT start-up folks, but all in all it seemed familiar. Lots of green, open spaces, old unimpressive buildings, and views of Jerusalem’s government, museums, and residential buildings. It’s a very different campus from Mount Scopus, which was an architectural disaster, this one is a bit more pleasant, and with distinct character.
Let’s go for a walk…
This is where I had my meeting, center for rationality…
