Quite a few things to see and do in Bristol, but there’s one spot that I liked the most – the Clifton Suspension Bridge from the mid 19th century connecting the two hill separated by the Avon river. It is a gorgeous area, and the views from the bridge down towards the valley and river below are absolutely breathtaking. The bridge itself has become somewhat of a symbol for Bristol. Just next to it, is the Clifton Observatory, a former mill turned skyviewer, dating back to the 18th century, and featuring some of the best views in the area, including a grand panorama of the valley below and the Clifton Suspension Bridge. The area behind the observatory has a few nice parks and the Bristol Zoo Gardens.
Location:
Definitely include this in your Bristol tour, can spend 2-3 hours walking around that area and enjoying the views.
