Istanbul has a mix of Europe and Asia and the Bosphorus is the strait that lies between the two parts. The Bosphorus connects the northern Black Sea with the southern Sea of Marmara which is connected to the Mediterranean Sea.
How lucky is Istanbul to have such beauty.
On one of the evenings, just before sunset, we took off for a one hour cruise of the Bosphorus.
To make our stay more pleasant, we were served Turkish style tea…
The buildings on both sides could give you a bit of taste of what a combination of European and Middle Eastern, and of old and modern, looks like.
The people watching, was fascinating… (thank Buddha for zoom).
Beautiful photos i should go there somehow.
Nitzan – Thanks. Yeah, Turkey was brilliant. You could make it a stop on the way back from Taiwan. If you choose the right dates, they have prices comparable to ElAl, and sometimes even close to Korea Air and Royal Jordanian when it comes to going HK->Israel (~850US$).
