My trip to the Yunnan province in China has so far been one of my most memorable trips in China. Kunming was alright, for a big city, but the real gems started from Dali, which honestly was above and beyond my expectations. One of my favorite things to do, is take cable cars up to the mountains and see the views of the area from above, and – lucky me – turns out Dali has three different cable car options taking you to gorgeous sky-high mountains, templates, and terrific hikes.
This one here is the smaller of the three – Zhonghe Cableway, which is more of a ski lift than it is a cable car, and rather shorter compared to the other very long rides, and leading up to a temple. There are some hiking trails above, but I just explored around the area nearby the temple, saw the views, and headed back down.
