Last summer I had the pleasure of stopping over in Vancouver for a few days to see some of my former colleagues who were attending a conference. The conference was downtown in the conference center area, which is situated right next to the gorgeous Victoria harbour. So, I had plenty of opportunities to roam around the pier and gaze at the harbour and mountains in the background, with varying weather. No doubt, Vancouver on a sunny day is breath-taking and picture perfect.
To give you a taste for it, here are various captures of the harbour from my walks along the boardwalk all the way from the conference center area to the park…
Location:
Even if you’re only there for a short conference, if there’s sunny weather – you’ll be in for a real treat. Consider also visiting the nearby Vancouver Lookout Tower Observatory or taking a short trip to either Grouse Mountain or the Capilano Suspension Bridge.
