One of the hidden treasures I came across when in Ishigaki was the Ibaruma Sabichi Cave. I wasn’t planning to stay long, and this was in the area of other things to see in the area, but it turned out to be a nice little attraction, a combination of a nice cave and a nice stretch of beach with some interesting rock formations next to it, and some funky attraction nearby.
Let’s enter and have a look…
As you come out of the cave on the other side, is a beginning of a short walk…
That takes you to a nice hidden stretch of beach…
This was all quite lovely.
Nearby I ran into one of the funkiest lunch/tea shops I’ve ever seen… (location)
and more wonderful beaches with strange rock formations…
