Had a few wonderful weeks in Sao Paulo before the pandemic hit South America and I had to venture back out, but during the time I spent there I saw lots of nice areas. Sao Paulo has a few parks, but the nicest one I visited was Ibirapuera Park. It’s a very large park, with different sections, and featuring a large lake, surrounded by various attractions. I came in a few times to wander around the park, sometimes work in one of the local coffee shops, and it was always very green and pretty, with interesting people watching.
Nearby, if you want to see the park from above, is the Museu de Arte Contemporânea which hosts terrific contemporary exhibitions, and has a rooftop terrace and restaurant/bar with panoramic views of the area. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.
Let’s take a walk around the park…
There are several attractions and museums within the park, that I have not visited yet like the museum of modern art.

Moving on to the nearby museum. First, let’s go up to the terrace…
