I’ve been to southern Spain before, touring Malaga, Seville, and other gorgeous cities in the area, but haven’t made it to Granada and have been meaning to go back. This summer I finally had the golden opportunity with a conference taking place in the region, and so I could roam the city before and after the conference. I had high expectations and Granada met them all. I stayed in the old town area, and every day discovered new parts of town, new restaurants, new lively pubs and bars, with friendly locals and delicious food. The city is gorgeous, with my favorite part being the hill top old Muslim area with grand views of the entire area, and the top attraction the Arabic palace of Alhambra.
