On the Dutch side of the 3-country border with Belgium and Germany is the small town of Vaals (Vaalsberg). From Vaals up south on towards the mountain is an interesting place worth visiting. On the exact point the countries meet is a little sign with three flags you can take your photo with, and just next to this location are some activities for kids and family. One of those attraction is the Labyrint Drielandenpunt, a fun maze for families to get lost together to figure out the way out. There are some observation decks to see the wonderful 3-countries views in every direction, and the maze from above, and a nice day like the one I had this could be quite the treat. It’s nothing too hard and not that big but good fun.
Location:
Try it out if you’re already in the area. If you’re passing by Vaals going from Aachen to Maastricht, you should definitely go up to see the views.
