My second stop in Africa after Johannesburg was to Zimbabwe, one night stopover at Victoria Falls. On the border with Zambia with the Zambezi river separating between the two you have a huge area with massive falls. You can definitely linger for more than a day, there seems to be a lot to see and do, if you have the time. The falls are gorgeous, there are wild-life tours on the rivers to see lots of hippos, crocs, and birds, and I wish I had more time to go to the Zambian side and see more of the area. Still, managed to do some of the highlights and get ready for the real safari adventure that awaited in more secluded camps.
