With a few days to see Finland, we decide to do the classic triangle road trip, heading north from Helsinki towards Tampere, then heading south west to Turku, and then heading back east to Helsinki. We had great adventures in both. Tampere offered a variety of funky museums, a great observation deck overlooking the gorgeous lakes in the area, but the highlight was a 1920s house we Airbnbed that took us back in time and allowed us to enjoy the Finnish country side. In Turku we started off with a living museum with restored old houses and actors showing Finnish life back in the days. We stayed at a golf resort , which was the only thing available since there was a huge music festival in town, and we spent the next half day zip-lining and enjoying tree-walk challenges.
