My last visit to Australia was 15 years ago, in 2005, during my first year traveling the world. I was curious to see how I’d feel about Australia after all this time and in a completely different stage of my life, combining business and pleasure. First stop, Melbourne. I stayed at the heart of the city, which I realized was just next to China Town, and used that as a base to venture to various parts of Melbourne. Lots of cool areas, lovely gardens, and good weekend escapes into the mountains not too far away. Though I visited during the height of the bush fire tragedy, I was able to appreciate the diversity of people, the very large selection of culture and music offerings, and how well organized everything seemed to be. Very high standard of living, and people generally look happy and friendly, even in times of crisis.
So, as a starter, here are my visions of travel photo summary of my long overdue visit to Melbourne…
