When visiting a conference in Rotterdam beginning of summer I got an unexpected opportunity being invited to visit Sweden. I wasn’t going to pass on that, and so even though it during a very hectic time for me and a bit off the tourist path, I said yes. That’s how I ended up staying a few days at Linkoping, and since it’s a very small and quiet town, and I can’t sit still, I’d guess I walked most of it, a few times. It’s quite charming, for its size, and has a couple of local attractions, the nicest for me was the free open air museum of an old Swedish town. During the weekends, the locals like to dress up and volunteer to bring Linkoping back a few hundred years to much simpler times.
