I started my two day visit to the lovely Turkish Antalya province at the Kaleici Old City of Antalya. I stayed with a B&B right at the center of the old town and got to experience late night early morning Muezzin calls for prayer and a bit of the local nightlife with gorgeous Turkish live music playing to a very small crowd getting wasted on Efes Pilsen local beers. It’s a nice old town, nothing as grand as the one in Istanbul, but there are lots of shops for tourists, the occasional odd museum (Toy Museum? and the mandatory Ata Turk’s House Museum), an old port where boat tours depart for the Turkish Riviera.
