At the heart of Los Angeles is Union Station, surrounded by a variety of culturally themed neighborhoods. You’ve got your China Town, your Little Tokyo, and closest by is the Mexican area. While walking through those neighborhood I came across a local Mexican God worship festival with lots of music, dancing and food, which I found absolutely fascinating. A combination of Paganism and Christianity, I honestly couldn’t make sense of it.
But first thing’s first, let’s kick this off with Union Station…
Not a very busy station. Some people I talked to weren’t even aware that LA has a subway system, but it does, and this is where it connects to trains and buses.
Heading west towards the Mexican area, I heard lots of noise and went to check it out.
