The final stop on the island hopping tour around Boston after Georges Island & Fort Warren from the Wharf Harborwalk was Spectacle Island, a gorgeous little island with a small hill in the middle that offers panoramic views of the Boston peninsula.
It’s part of the Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area, so that means you can stay overnight to camp and if you’re only there for a short visit – there’s a five mile walking trail that goes around the island.
Want to see some beautiful panoramas?
The whole area is just gorgeous, no matter where you look…
Strongly recommended if you’re in Boston and the weather’s nice.
