More that a year later, I realized I have not summed up my wonderful summer trip to the magical Penghu islands in Taiwan. That trip reminded me of everything I loved about Taiwan. Crazy temples, gorgeous beaches, breathtaking scenic views, Taiwanese village life with Fijianese architecture houses, ancient Dutch and Japanese forts, amazing local food, and very friendly locals. Brought me back to the wonderful years of roaming around exploring Taiwan and Taiwanese culture.
I got myself a motorbike and spent a few days roaming around. Lots of hidden gems and local adventures, and of those I’ll sum up the highlights with photos…
Jhongtun windmill
Tongliang great banyan tree
Dayi temple
Xiaomen Geological Museum and Whale Cave
Cross sea bridge
Suogang
Shan Sheui Beach
That sums up that Penghu trip. Other posts from that tour:
