Peng Chau is a small outlaying island that seems to be stuck in time. Visiting this island is really like taking a trip back in time, to a more quiet local life, perhaps reflecting what former life in Hong Kong felt like before it became a bustling hectic metropolis.
Every time I visit this island I experience something new, and this time around I decided to stay on the island. There are no hotels, so this was a very simple and local Airbnb, at the heart of the small island, from which I did some walks to explore. Though I visited a few times before, years ago, and this a very small island, I was still able to discover new interesting things.
Seems like there are some parts of the island with a chill artsy hippie vibe, and there are some hidden beach spots.
