In my last trip to northern Israel, staying in the area of Acre, I ventured out further north for the first in over a decade to make a stop in Nahariya and visit the beaches. Israel has a gorgeous stretch of beaches, some nicer than others, but the one in Nahariya turned out to be one of the nicest of the public beaches, uninterrupted views, no wave breakers, and relatively clear waters and comfy white sand. There’s also a wonderful long Promenade.
To make things even easier, you could easily drive up and park close to the beach, and there are several nice bar and restaurant options for you to chill at the beach and watch the sunset.
I’d definitely want to make it back for a longer stay, maybe rent a shack close to the beach, and come chill some more…
