On my last day before returning my car and departing Crete, I ventured up to the mid-Crete mountains for some last-minute adventures. One of those, I admit, sounded promising but ended up being pretty odd – Museum Homo Sapiens. It offered some good views of that part of the mountains, but the attraction itself was bizarre. It offered a few houses of the different evolution stages of the homo sapiens throughout the ages, with a bit of English details. Not very clear, or detailed, and it’s a rather small place, but I thought it was a good stop on the way to the caves and other funky museums in the mountain regions.
So, just thought I’d add a quick documentation of this quick experience.
From the coastline…

Up the mountains…

To the central region…

And to the “museum”…
