During dark pandemic times, I was left stranded in Israel, and while there were a few weeks when things eased up a bit, I took a car and drove around to explore as much as I can before they hit us with another curfew.
This gave me a chance to revisit places I have not been to in quite a few years, up north. I made it to Safed, a religious center for the Jewish religion, with quite a bit of Jewish history. Nearby, is the gorgeous Mount Tabor, where I did a circular one hour hike around the monastery (which was closed for visitors at the time).
Was a nice day, with some wonderful views of the area from above.
