One of the great things I liked about Toronto was the diversity of cultures. Toronto has several neighborhoods with distinct cultural aromas, with a China Town, a Greek area, a prominently Jewish, etc. I was taken to explore and dine at Gerrard Street, which hosts lots of central Asian immigrants, mainly from India and Pakistan, sometimes referred to as Little India.
Let’s talk a short walk down Gerrard Street…
Can you feel it?
To make our experience complete, we went into one of the local Indian restaurants – Udupi Palace – and had ourselves some traditional Indian cuisine…
Yummy. Yay for cultural diversity, I’m quite jealous.
This post makes me nostalgic.. I used to live in the area (near where the first photo’s taken). It’s not going to be easy for me to leave Toronto…. *sigh*
Good that you had a good time there!
Yeah, no Indian towns in Israel 😀 but, there are other things I hope you’ll enjoy ^^
Such a nice experience! The food looked delicious too. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to reading other of you new adventures
Thanks, Mai.
