On a beautiful rainy day I took a visitor to Hong Kong to see the Hong Kong Victoria Harbor, starting at Wan Chai, taking the Star Ferry across the harbor to the Tsim Sha Tsui side, and then back again.
Since a typhoon was approaching the city, the skies were especially beautiful, with variations of clouds and blue skies that produced the occasional rainbow and some striking images of heavenly lights shining down at the harbour through the clouds.
Starting out from the Wan Chai Expo Promenade overlooking the harbor …
Then taking the Star Ferry across the harbor to the TST side…
Overlooking HK Island…
You don’t need clear blue skies to see Hong Kong in full glory.
