Our final stop in Greece, just before heading back to the Athens airport and flying out, was Corinth. We were staying in a nearby Airbnb, and a mere 10 minute drive away we arrived at the almost deserted archeological site. A demanding hike up, which I was very proud that our little team was able to pull off successfully, and we had breath-taking panoramic views of the entire region, stretching all the way from far off Athens, through the coastline to the Peloponnese islands, overlooking mainland Greece up to the north. Crisp air, breezy winds, sunshine with fluffy clouds hanging above, this was the best farewell to the amazing trip we had in Greece that we could have hoped for. Greece is gorgeous, the history astounding, and together with my companion this was above and beyond anything I expected. We flew in with practically no plans, but almost everything that we saw or did went smoothly and was great fun.
Here’s a photo summary of our hike up Corinth and the views you can expect to see once up there…
