One of the nicest attractions in Romanian Timisoara is a step back in time to visit an old Romanian Banat village. It’s a bit out of town, easily approachable by Uber, and I was the only tourist visiting at the time. Lots of old houses, furnished with old furniture to give you a taste of what living during the good old times felt like. It’s a rather large complex, so you can easily spend an hour or two roaming around and peeking into the houses. Some days they have festivals with performers dressed up to demonstrate daily life, but even without that it’s an intriguing place to explore.
