I arrived at Geneva early morning and had half a day to explore around before work called. I started with the Saint-Pierre Cathedral for grand views of the city and the Geneva lake, and then made my way to the university area, located near the Parc des Bastions, a lovely area to explore and see face to face some of the great thinkers that emerged from the area (e.g., in my field, Piaget). After concluding a day on campus doing my thing, I headed out to the train station to catch a train to Lausanne, and noticed the Swatch Museum on the way, a rather small but interesting (and free) collection of swatch watches over the years. A lovely way to spend half a day touring around Geneva.

Together with my tour of Lake Geneva, Parc Barton, and Botanical Gardens during my return on my last day before flying out, this pretty much sums up my short visit to Geneva.
