Fushimi Inari is one of the nicest temples to visit in Kyoto, one of the must TODOs on your temple run. In the first post, we hiked up the Inari mountain through the thousands of orange torii orange gates of the Fushimi Inari Temple through a mountain trail of a few kilometers. Although it’s not an easy climb, there are many resting points along the way, both to regain strength and get a drink, and to worship with the countless Fushimi Inari little shrines.

A gorgeous temple, not to be missed. Bring good hiking shoes, don’t wear too much, and be sure to ready your cameras. Almost anywhere you’ll point your camera, you’ll get a postcard shot.
