Two years ago I discovered one of Hong Kong’s best hikes – The Dragon’s Back. An easy hike with some of the best views any person could hope for, and all within easy reach from the city down at the south-eastern side of Hong Kong Island.
I recently had the pleasure of revisiting this hike. Though the photos this time aren’t as good as the first hike, the intensity of the scenery of that area calls for me to show you more. Here goes.
The peak of the trail…
Looking down to the south east…
Looking down south, to Shek O Beach and the nearby golf course…
Looking to the west…
And, ofcourse, the dragon’s back with the trail going up and down on the mountain ridge…
The visibility wasn’t perfect, but occasionally it made for an especially stunning skies…
The perfect evening hike.
