Perhaps the most famous spot on Siquijor island are the Cambugahay Falls (not to be confused with Lugnason Falls) are the central-southern side of the island. They’re picture perfect. We’re talking clear blue waters flowing down from the island mountains in a three tiers of cool pristine water pools.
On a blazing hot Filipino summer day, this is exactly what you hope for.
It’s breathtaking.
The most popular thing to do in there is a Tarjan jump into the pool using the nearby trees, or just jumping in from the top to the center of the pool.
The Cambugahay Falls are located about 2k, north from the historic Siquijor town of Lazi . I got there on a rented motorcycle, which will cost you a few pesos to park up next to the entrance (10-20). There are 100+ stairs going down and you’re there.
looks great, blue water, pure forest, a little bit similar with one of lake in Jiuzhaigou. I like falls, the biggest falls in world, like Niagara falls, Iguassu Falls, Victoria falls, I’ve never been anywhere….so sad.
