There are a few special advantages to studying with HKUST that have nothing to do with academics and research. There’s little doubt in my mind that the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology has a campus with the most gorgeous scenery I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen quite a few universities. On a clear October day, it doesn’t get much better than this.
And so, going down from the university apartments to the terrific outdoors swimming pool for a swim one morning, I test-drove a new mobile phone I got to see how well it would do to capture the beauty of that morning (Acer Liquid E). It came out fantastic, so I think it’s worth sharing with you…
Looking down at the walk path to the UG dorms, the running track, the swimming pool and the gorgeous Sai Kung Peninsula.
The tree walk leading from University Towers to LG5/LG7/UG-PG dorms.
UG Hall 7 and the outdoors swimming pool…
Professors’ tower 1 and 2… they do get some good views of the islands.
HKUST has a swimming pool right next to a small private beach where students BBQ occasionally…
