Though I’m not sure I understand it all, the “2009 Hong Kong & Shenzhen Bi-city Biennale of Urbanism Architecture” aims to “help envision a new model metropolis that uses social capital as the main driving force”. It’s actually the first large-scale cultural exhibition taking place in the West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade & Cultural District, as part of a big high-investment plan to develop the cultural part of Hong Kong.
Walking through the promenade a week before the exhibition closed, this is some of what I came across.
