Visited Spain during holiday time to warm up a bit. After starting my adventures at Malaga, I rented a car and headed up the mountains north-west through the white villages and cliff-hanging towns – Ronda and Zahara – to finally arrive at Seville. Although I was unprepared about Seville and had very limited time, some of my colleagues have formerly expressed their enthusiasm about this city and so I was looking forward to exploring it. Upon arrival it became clear that Seville was on a different scale than Malaga, much larger center area, more tourist attractions, and far much going on. Since it was holidays time, the whole center was packed and there was a lot of excitement everywhere. During the short visit I mainly visited the palace, and walked around the large central area, but the nicest surprise was actually the flamenco performance I caught at the local flamenco museum. All in all, it’s a city deserving of a few days and a longer visit, so I’m expecting to make it back some day.
