Japan is one of my favorite places to travel. Even short trip to places to non touristic places seems to end up as being very enjoyable, and me generally being very impressed and delighted with the Japanese.
Even my trip to Fukuoka, that didn’t have any specific highlight in min, ended up being quite nice. Even an industrial city offers plenty of shrines to explore, a lively down town, impeccable public transport and clean streets, and then ofcourse – you have the Japanese, polite, respectful, with an endless array of amazing restaurants and food/drink options, and various wonderful Japanese wonders, like hotsprings, coupled with just plain odd things. I’ve had a bit of all that in Fukuoka, and even when I had very little time, any time I would decide to go out and explore – I would find something fun.
To give you a taste of my visit, here are my visions photowalk tour of Fukuoka…
